  1. How to Install Zombie Wars (V1.0S)

  5. INSTALLING THE GAME
  6. -------------------
  7. To install Zombie Wars you will need to have at least 40 Megabytes of 
  8. hard drive space free before running the setup.exe program. If you are 
  9. installing the movie packs you will need at least 52 Megabytes free.
  10.  
  11. 1) Run the setup.exe program from the temporary install directory that 
  12. you have extracted the zip files into.
  13.  
  14. 2) Follow the installation directions.
  15.  
  16. 3) If you did a full install then you can delete the temporary install
  17. directory which you extracted the zip files into.
  18.  
  19.  
  20. To run Zombie Wars select Zombie Wars from inside the ZOMBIE WARS 
  21. program group under the Start menu.

  24. INSTALLING THE MOVIE PACKS
  25. --------------------------
  26. The movie packs contain a cool 3D rendered intro sequence with full
  27. voice and considerably enhanced ending sequence which includes full
  28. voice and 3D rendered animation.

  31. If you are installing the movie packs (ZWAVI1.ZIP and ZWAVI2.ZIP) then
  32. follow these simple steps:
  33.  
  34. 1) If you haven't done so already, install Zombie Wars (see above 
  35. instructions)
  36.  
  37. 2) Extract the ZWAVI1.ZIP and ZWAVI2.ZIP into the game directory (the
  38. default directory is C:\GEEWHIZ\ZWARS)
  39.  
  40. 3) Now run the game!

  43. If you don't have the intro sequence and the enhanced ending sequence 
  44. but would like them, you can download them from the Gee Whiz! web

  53. INSTALLATION NOTES:
  54. -------------------
  55. - To save hard drive space delete the Zombie Wars zip files before 
  56. running setup.exe
  57. - You can do a minimum install which requires 15 Megabytes of hard 
  58. drive space. However you will need to keep the installation files in 
  59. the temporary install directory.  Please note that the install 
  60. directory file path must be less than 12 characters - eg.  C:\ZWARS
  61.

  63. THIS IS SHAREWARE
  64. -----------------
  65. This is the shareware version of Zombie Wars which allows you to play 
  66. one level out of thirty. If you'd like to learn how to play the rest 
  67. of the game please see Ordering Info under the Help menu.

  69. You are free to distribute the shareware version of Zombie Wars as long
  70. as no files are altered, deleted or added.

  73. SHAREWARE CD COMPILATION VENDORS
  74. --------------------------------
  75. You can place this shareware version of Zombie Wars on a compilation CD
  76. royalty free as long as no files are altered, deleted or added and under
  77. the provision that the INTRO.AVI and ZWENDING.AVI from the Movie Packs
  78. are also included in the installation directory on the CD.

  80. We have a special SETUP.EXE file for CD versions that copies the INTRO.AVI
  81. and ZWENDING.AVI from the CD during a Full Install. This file is in our
  82. VENDOR.ZIP file which can be found on our web site at:

  98. The intro and ending .avis are included in the ZWAVI1.ZIP and 
  99. ZWAVI2.ZIP files. If you don't have them - get them - they are very 
  100. cool and are fully 3D rendered with a full voice-over. They add 
  101. condiderably to the gaming experience!
